As AI agents grow more autonomous, we need to know if we can trust them. Agents can be unpredictable, which raises the stakes on every decision they make. This session will explore how to build that trust through the monitoring and iteration of various LLMs – namely Google Gemini models – available via Vertex AI. We’ll examine how observability reveals agent reasoning, while controlled experiments and LLM-as-a-judge frameworks enable scalable evaluation. By implementing continuous evaluation, developers can create a safety net for change – transforming opacity into confidence using Datadog’s observability ecosystem.
