Wendy's is a household name, but most think of it as a restaurant chain, not a tech company. Under the hood, in the last five years Wendy's has scaled to 23% of orders being digital and running at 99.95% availability. In this fireside chat, VP of Architecture and Engineering David Faircloth sits down with Whitney Lee, Senior Technical Advocate at Datadog, to share how Wendy's built an engineering culture from scratch. He'll dish about how observability, chaos engineering, and going all-in on Google Cloud played a part in scaling a world-class engineering team that drives reliability.
