As Chief Product and Business Officer of Google Cloud, Karthik Narain leads product and engineering teams across cloud, developer, data, and Applied AI – the go-to-market organization – and he works closely with Google Public Sector. In this capacity, he is responsible for product development, global revenue, and go-to-market motions, providing end-to-end leadership from product innovation through global market execution.
Karthik joined Google Cloud from Accenture, where he most recently served as Group Chief Executive of Technology, Chief Technology Officer, and Chair of the Board of Avanade. He was instrumental in overseeing Accenture’s technology vision, strategy, and execution. He previously led Accenture’s market-defining Cloud-First and Data & AI businesses, which were widely recognized as the market leaders across enterprise customers, technology partners, and industry analysts.
His expertise spans cloud, data and AI, security, enterprise and industry platforms, developer tools, and application and infrastructure engineering. He has personally led major cloud and AI-based modernization and transformation initiatives for G4000 companies across every major industry and public sector entities around the world.
Karthik holds a master’s degree in computer science from Bharathidasan University in India.
