Varun Mohan is a Director of Engineering at Google DeepMind and leads the Antigravity team, where he is defining the next frontier of AI-driven development. His work centers on scaling AI agent capabilities to automate complex workflows across the organization. Prior to joining Google, Varun co-founded Windsurf (formerly Codeium) and led Autonomy Infrastructure at Nuro.
Varun holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. Outside of work, he is an avid endurance athlete and cyclist, and has biked from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
