Sarah Kennedy is the Vice President of Marketing at Google Cloud, a business now operating at over a $49 billion annual run rate and playing a pivotal role in the AI revolution. Since joining Google in 2020, Sarah has been instrumental in re-engineering Google Cloud’s marketing approach to unlock predictable, scalable growth in a hypercompetitive global landscape. She leads a global organization responsible for the end-to-end customer acquisition and demand generation engine for Google Cloud. Her broad remit encompasses global growth marketing strategy, integrated campaigns, world-class experiential events, digital self-serve channels, marketing operations and technology, and advanced data analytics and insights. Crucially, Sarah also plays a key role in shaping Google Cloud’s go-to-market strategy for its rapidly expanding AI portfolio and spearheads initiatives leveraging AI to transform Google Marketing’s own growth and efficiency. Prior to joining Google, Sarah was the Chief Marketing Officer for Adobe Experience Cloud, where she led the comprehensive global marketing efforts for Adobe’s enterprise business. She joined Adobe in 2018 through the acquisition of Marketo, where she held the role of Chief Marketing Officer and helped lead the sale of the company to Adobe for $4.75 billion, the largest acquisition in Adobe’s history. Sarah sits on the President’s Leadership Council, Business School Board of Directors, and NIL Advisory Board for Baylor University. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor, and an MBA from the Naveen Jindal School of Business at the University of Texas at Dallas.
