John Patel is a strategic leader with deep expertise in building and managing high-impact technology partnerships to deliver transformative customer outcomes. John is the Global Migrations Partner Lead at Google Cloud where he is responsible for accelerating cloud adoption leveraging the dynamic partner ecosystem.
Before joining Google, John led the VMware and End User Computing Partnership businesses during his nearly eight-year tenure at Amazon Web Services. He also served as a Senior Social Scientist for the U.S. Department of Justice and as a Senior Performance Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Labor. John holds a Doctorate in Public Policy from the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government at Virginia Commonwealth University and is a Senior Fellow at the Partnership for Public Service. John is based in Jersey City, NJ.
