Brian Schoepfle serves as the Head of Public Sector Partner Engineering at Google, a position he has held since January 2023. In this role, Brian leads a team responsible for developing and implementing technical enablement strategies with Google's partners, with the ultimate goal of accelerating their revenue growth. His team focuses on partners who cater to a wide range of public sector customers, including state and local governments, educational institutions, and various federal civilian and defense agencies.
Brian's extensive experience in the technology industry spans two decades, with a significant focus on selling and delivering technology solutions through channel partners. Prior to his current role at Google, Brian spent three and a half years at AWS Worldwide Public Sector, where he led the Partner Solution Architect team supporting the global distribution business. His experience also includes time at a partner, where he started and ran the cloud practice from its inception to a multi-million dollar per month multi-cloud sales and delivery organization.
Brian's educational background includes a BS from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University, where he majored in Science, Technology, and Public Policy. This interdisciplinary major reflects his broad understanding of the interplay between technology, policy, and society. 
A resident of Bend, Oregon, Brian enjoys a balanced lifestyle that combines his professional pursuits with outdoor activities. He is an avid fly-fisherman and loves exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest with his wife and dog.
