Matt is Managing Director, Outcome Customer Engineering EMEA, leading the technical teams responsible for engagement and success of our partners and ecosystem who use Google Cloud's technologies and solutions to deliver value and innovation to our customers. 
Matt is a business-orientated technologist, passionate about creating new opportunity and capability through the application of technology to the enterprise.   Throughout a varied career, he has worked alongside some forward innovators and inspiring leaders at major companies, such as Google, NHS, EADS and The European Space Agency, working across the UK, Europe and the US.
Matt joined Google Enterprise in 2009 as UK & Ireland Industry Head for Retail. In 2011 Matt took up the EMEA lead to incubate the new Google Cloud Platform offering in EMEA. Google Cloud brings some of the most exciting and advanced technologies to our customers such as Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Analytics and Security solutions.  From the inception of Google Cloud in 2011, Matt has established a strong track record in building high-performing teams in hyper-growth environments, closely involved in pioneering some of our largest and most exciting customer partnerships in EMEA.
Throughout his previous 10 years, he worked in IT, managing CxO consultancy engagements, leading programme turnarounds, delivering offshore projects and designing and developing systems within the healthcare, telecommunications and space technology sections for Logica, the largest European IT Services vendor.
