Kara is a Group Product Manager at Google, where she leads the Firebase Agent Experiences, Databases and Security product teams. She is passionate about enabling builders to create applications easier. 
Prior to Firebase, she worked as a product manager at YouTube. Prior to Google, she worked at Meteor and was involved with developing the programming language Scratch while at the MIT Media Lab. She earned Bachelor's Degrees in Economics and Math with Computer Science from MIT, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
