Jagan Athreya is a Group Product Manager for Spanner at Google. where he drives product strategy for Google Cloud’s Databases product line and prior to this, for BigQuery in the Data Analytics product line. Previously, he was  Senior Director of Product Management for database cloud services at Oracle. In prior roles, as head of products, Jagan drove product strategy at CRM, supply chain and digital rights management cloud SaaS startups. Jagan has an MBA from Wharton School and has studied electrical engineering at Dartmouth College and Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
