Derek Snyder is the Director of Product Marketing at Google, where he leads the team for Google Workspace. He has over 20 years of experience in product leadership, spanning B2B and B2C domains across mobile apps, SaaS, and e-commerce. He is passionate about creating innovative products that solve customer problems and drive growth.
Previously, Derek was a Senior Director at Microsoft, where he led the product marketing team for Microsoft 365. Prior to that, he was the Chief Product Officer at Dashlane, a password manager and online security app with over 15 million users worldwide. He led a global team of product managers, UX designers, analysts, researchers, customer support agents, and business development managers to define and execute the company strategy and product roadmap. Prior to that, Derek was the Chief Product Officer at TrackMaven (now part of Skyword), a marketing attribution and analytics SaaS product that helped marketers measure and optimize their campaigns. He was responsible for product management, UX, business development, and engineering.
Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Le Moyne College. He lives in New York City with his wife Emily and daughter Siena. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books on economics and technology.
