Maxim leads the teams responsible for protecting Google Cloud Platform and first-party applications from all forms of intentional and unintentional abuse, including Google's DoS protection and rate limiting systems and Project Shield.
Maxim's teams also develop features for GCP's network security portfolio including Google Cloud Armor, Cloud Intrusion Detection System, and Cloud Next Generation Firewall Enterprise.
Prior to his role at Google, Maxim held various technical leadership roles at companies specializing in content delivery, internet security, and edge computing.
