Andrew Fikes is an Engineering Fellow at Google, where he has spent more than 25 years defining and building large scale, distributed storage and database systems.  He currently is part of the Cloud organization applying his technical expertise to improving customer availability at scale within Google Cloud.  Prior to Google, Andrew graduated with a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford, and a Bachelors of Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
