Alibek is a technology leader who has been working at Booking.com for 10 years now. Currently he leads multiple teams at AI Platform. Primarily focus is inference, including traditional predictive ML and generative AI.
In addition to full-time job, he also acts as a technology advisor to Freedom Holding Group on the Lifestyle sub-group.
Prior to Booking.com, Alibek has worked in Silicon Valley at a high growth scale-up company as a software engineer (ipsy.com).
Before moving to the US, he worked as an entrepreneur testing e-commerce hypotheses and successfully launched small consumer businesses.
