Shweta leads Google’s Life Sciences Strategic Industries practice. She is motivated by creating a collaborative ecosystem to maximize value from data within the Healthcare & Life Sciences ecosystem to ultimately benefit patients. 
With 20+ years’ experience in Healthcare, Pharma, Med Tech and BioTech, she has proven time and time again how valuable relationships can be by enabling dozens of start-up firms with access to capital from Federal grants and VC firms alike. She brings an eye for detail, winning contract negotiations, and financial insight to support her commercial partnership strategy expertise. 
Shweta has been recognized as a trailblazer for Life Sciences in the PharmaVoice 100. She has been the recipient of multiple awards at Roche, including two “Innovation Awards,” “MVP Award,” and more. Shweta also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Allen Institute, a bioscience research institute aimed at unlocking the mysteries of human biology through foundational science.  She lives in the Bay Area, California with her husband and two sons.
