Muthusriram Rengasamy (Muthu) is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Data and Enterprise Architecture at Verizon Communications. With a robust background in shaping technical strategies and driving engineering excellence, Muthu plays a pivotal role in aligning complex data architectures with overarching business objectives. Muthu has designed the enterprise architecture for critical Generative AI components, including Context Engineering, multi-step Agentic Workflows, and Large Language Model Operations. He has also driven the standardization of developer practices, including CI/CD processes and security guardrails for deploying agentic applications.
He actively collaborates with industry-leading hyperscalers, evaluating and integrating cutting-edge solutions such as Google’s Gemini Enterprise and Vertex AI Agent Engine Platform to scale Verizon’s GenAI capabilities. Prior to his current executive role, he held the position of Director of Enterprise Architecture at Verizon India - IT. During this tenure, he was instrumental in leading critical architectural initiatives and building resilient, scalable IT frameworks that support global operations.
