As VP of AI Transformation, Ryan Vauk’s team focuses on transforming how we work at Google by building impactful tools and solutions that allow the company to operate with AI at its core.
Prior to this role, he was Vice President in the Knowledge & Information organization, where he led strategy and operations for Google’s most beloved products – like Google Search, Google Maps, Google and Shopping – with billions of users around the world, helping to launch the Gemini app, AI Overviews, and AI Mode in Search. He previously led go-to-market operations for Google’s $50+ billion advertising business across the US, Canada, Brazil, and Latin America.
Before joining Google, Ryan worked at McKinsey, with a focus on growth and transformation for consumer-facing industries. He worked at 3M in various roles across sales, marketing, and product management. Ryan has a B.A. in finance from Baylor University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
