Matt Zwolenski leads Wiz’s (wiz.io) APJ Solutions Engineering team, guiding organizations across Asia-Pacific and Japan in securing their cloud environments against evolving threats. With a career spanning over three decades in IT, he combines technical expertise with strategic vision to help businesses proactively address cloud risks and innovate securely.
His journey began as a developer, evolving into leadership roles focused on cloud technologies, AI, and cybersecurity—including CTO positions at Fortune 100 companies. Before Wiz, Matt drove cloud transformations at Google Cloud, working with enterprises and government agencies to modernize infrastructure. Earlier roles at Dell Technologies (as VP of Systems Engineering, APJ), EMC, and IBM sharpened his ability to translate complex technical solutions into customer success.
A pragmatic leader, Matt is a sought-after voice at industry events, sharing insights on cloud security and hybrid strategies. He holds a BSc in Computing Science, an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and multiple cloud and IT certifications. He’s also the author of a book on hybrid cloud, blending hands-on experience with actionable guidance.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys scuba diving, snowboarding, sailing, and traveling—passions that mirror his professional ethos: curiosity, adaptability, and a focus on navigating challenges with clarity.
