Mitchell Meyer is the Manager of Cloud Security Operations at PayPal, where he leads a team safeguarding cloud infrastructure across some of the world's most recognized fintech brands. A trusted leader in cloud security, Mitchell has established secure-by-design architecture patterns, zero trust frameworks, and multi-cloud security standards across AWS, GCP, and Azure that have been adopted company-wide. He has leveraged Google Cloud Armor extensively to design and enforce DDoS mitigation and WAF policies at enterprise scale, and has been a key voice in shaping everything from PayPal's AI Security Strategy to modernizing PayPal's broader security ecosystem.
Mitchell holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from Indiana University. He is also an active member of the Chicago OWASP Chapter.
