Phillip Hwang is the CEO and technical co-founder of KindredPM, an AI-native startup bringing patent-pending agentic AI orchestration technology to real estate.
KindredPM is automating the labor-intensive leasing, maintenance, and receptionist workflows for tens of thousands of doors in the United States.
With a couple of big enterprise deals under its belt, KindredPM hit the break-even point 18 months after launching and is growing fast.
Phillip graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University in 4 years total, the fastest in the school's 200-year history.
Prior to starting KindredPM, Phillip worked as a Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead product development and fulfillment for complex enterprise contracts.
Noteable previous products include:
- OCR algorithm for Hyundai (2021): Used the transformer architecture to scan countless serial numbers before assembly
- "Widowmaker Ult" for the South Korean Military (2023): 3D pose estimation from 2D CCTVs (can see people through walls with AR goggles) for urban warfare/counterterrorism training purposes
- Auto Map Segmentation for the South Korean National Geographic Information Institute (2024): Used Meta's SAM to automatically draw high-definition maps from satellite images. Reduced a contractor's FTE headcount by over 50%.
