Joseph Bonanno is the Global Head of Data Analytics and Innovationfor Citi Wealth. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the data strategy, analytics, AI, machine learning, advisor/client experience, and other innovation initiatives. Prior to this, he served as the Head of Data, Digital, and Innovation at Citi Security Services, where he led the cloud and data strategy, artificial intelligence, analytics and reporting, blockchain and digital asset technology, along with strategic investments and client-facing systems.
Prior to Citi, Joe was the Head of Analytics & Data Strategy, Architecture, & Platforms for Morgan Stanley WealthManagement. Joseph was responsible for driving the Cloud, Data, Visualization, Advanced Analytics, Digital, and Machine Learning Platform strategies across Morgan Stanley's 15MM FullService, Self-Directed, and Workplace customers. Joseph led the creation and implementation of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management's Data Lake, Self-Serve Analytical Environment, Next Best Action Financial Advisor Insights Platform, LeadIQProspect Matching Engine, and the Omni-Channel Project Genome client engagement architecture leveraging agile methodologies.
