As Vice President and Google Business Finance Officer, Vicki Eckert leads strategic financial and risk management oversight for an organization of 17,500 researchers, engineers, and operations teams. Acting as a key advisor to Google's senior executives, including the CFO, she drives the financial strategy behind the company's critical Generative AI investments, capital allocation, and internal operations. Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in shaping the governance and financial strategy for the company's AI and machine learning investments, and has sponsored massive AI-first enterprise transformation and cost-optimization programs. Her purview also extends to enterprise-wide systems and risk management, encompassing security, regulatory compliance, and technical environments. She is committed to Googler development, focusing her team on the evolution of their AI skills, knowledge, and application.
Prior to Google, Vicki served as Vice Chairwoman of PwC and a member of the PwC Global Executive Leadership Team. She was the PwC Global Chief Innovation Officer, leading technology teams across the global network of PwC firms. With over 30 years in Silicon Valley, she led the PwC consulting, tax, and assurance businesses serving the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications industry.
Vicki is on the Board of Silicon Valley Leadership Group and is a proud alumna of Pennsylvania State University.
