Rajendra Prasad (RP) is Accenture’s Group Chief Executive of Technology, and a member of the company’s Global Management Committee. In this role, RP oversees all facets of Accenture’s technology business and leads the company’s technology strategy. His responsibilities span cloud, data & AI, enterprise & industry technologies, security, technology ecosystem partnerships, and Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centers.
 
Prior to this appointment, RP served as Accenture’s Chief Information and Asset Engineering Officer. As CIO, RP played a pivotal role in transforming infrastructure and application services – both for our clients and internally – positioning Accenture as its own best credential. In recognition of his impact, RP was named to the prestigious Forbes CIO Next list in 2024, which honors the industry’s most influential CIOs. As Group Chief Executive of Technology, RP will continue to oversee global IT operations and drive the development of cutting-edge assets and accelerators.
 
RP joined Accenture in 2005 after holding leadership roles at several Fortune 500 companies. He brings deep expertise in strategic client interactions in the areas of software engineering, intelligent automation, and digital and AI technologies. He is committed to bringing together our best people for client delivery excellence.
 
A recognized innovator, RP holds 100 patents personally and has led teams in filing more than 150 patents globally. He spearheaded the creation of Accenture myWizard®, an AI-powered intelligent automation platform. As a thought leader and writer, he has authored more than a dozen papers in internationally recognized journals and trade publications and co-authored the book “The Automation Advantage.”
