Jia is the co-founder, President and Chief AI Officer of LiveX AI. She is elected as IEEE Fellow for Leadership in Large Scale AI. She was the Co-Founder of Google Cloud AI & Global Head of R&D, overseeing the development of the full stack of AI products on Google Cloud and solutions for industry verticals. She has served as a board member and advisor at public companies, organizations and private companies, for example Unity Software Inc (NYSE:U), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Samsung Electronics,  HealthUnity Corporation. She served at Accenture as a part-time Chief AI Fellow for the Generative AI strategy. She has taught AI courses including the Future of AI Agents at Stanford University, where she has served multiple roles including Adjunct Professor. She has served as Mentor and Professor-in-Residence at StartX, advising founders and companies from Stanford. She received her PhD degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
