Gerardo Muñoz Martin is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience driving digital transformation and large-scale strategic initiatives in global environments. Currently serving as the Chief Technology and Information Officer at El Puerto de Liverpool, he has led the company’s technology strategy since 2021, focusing on modernizing platforms and integrating digital and physical capabilities to enhance customer experience and evolving to a unified commerce model. His distinguished career includes pivotal roles at Walmart Inc., where he oversaw technology and eCommerce programs across global markets, and serving as Chief Technology Officer for CIE, the largest live entertainment company in Latin America. 
A Computer Science graduate of Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM), he also holds executive and postgraduate credentials from MIT Sloan, Yale School of Management, and IPADE Business School. His academic focus spans management, innovation, technology, and executive leadership.
